Eye fi app android
Would love to know what bar file you used and where I can get it, the one I was originally directed to was removed.Would also like to know how you got the Eye-Fi desktop client to recognize PB, as I thought this was only possible with an official app. Eye-Fi can be quirky and finicky, I've used them from their beginnings, I thought the X2 card resolved alot of issues. Hope against hope this might be a sign that an official app is on the way.Īt any rate the bar file and some instructions for getting the desktop client to recognize PB would be great.

I think i just need to try another version.Īpelles1: the playbook and the desktop client link up perfect with the android app btwDamn ! Sounds frustrating. I can connect with direct mode to my camera but it still doesn't send the photos. I got it working flawlessly on my ipad, but when attempting the playbook, the photos just don't show up. I definitely can't get it working with the playbook on 1.0.82. *pairing is Eye-Fi term for matching a specific card to a specific device-tablet/phoneWouldn't the eye-fi card in direct mode broadcast it's own wifi network and then the playbook would connect to that wifi network and it would work ? *pairing is Eye-Fi term for matching a specific card to a specific device-tablet/phone

Just a thought, maybe there is a way to download Eye-Fi app from Eye-Fi's site to your computer and deceive Eye-Fi home computer app into believing that PlayBook is an Android Tablet such as Kindle Fire This is only my experience with Eye-Fi's system.

Some cameras such as Sony NEX series have an Eye-Fi upload built in to function with an Eye-Fi card. Once done I can keep these settings for months,or until I change them. The card has to be recognized by the Eye -Fi desktop app to pair card with a mobile device that appears on list of devices that have mobile app installed and recognized by same home computer software. The pairing has to be done with the card inserted with a special Eye-Fi card reader that comes with the card.
The PlayBook has to appear on the list of devices on the Eye-Fi Center on my computer at home. The pairing is done at home on my computer before I go out. This is where official PlayBook app comes in. The computer app is where I "pair"* cards to receive media -video/stills from a camera with Eye -Fi card installed to a particular device that has a mobile Eye-Fi app to receive media from camera. The Eye-Fi center app lists all my cards and devices that have an mobile Eye-Fi app on the device. I have an X2 card which came with a disc that I installed the Eye-Fi center app with on my Mac.
